A Family based Water sports club based on the River Mersey first formed in 1958
We are just entering into an really exciting period for the Club, as we have recently completed a multimillion pound redevelopment which was officially opened in
October 2008 by HRH the Prince Royal - Princess Anne.
We are located in a new coastal park and our recently refurbished 1000’ slipway gives the only true access to the River Mersey from the north shore. The location was originally chosen because of the ideal sailing waters and this is still true today.
Our goal this year is to see a large increase in the activities on the water, to this end we are actively seeking to increase our membership which is open all types of watersports enthusiasts.
