Mersey Tideway Open Cruise 2011 Three visting dinghies joined four member boats to brave what is commonly becoming 2011's standard weather pattern of a F5 on the nose for a stiff run to New Brighton and back. Though you wouldnt think so from this picture. Check out flyer!
Mersey Tideway Open Cruise 2010 LSC's Premier Open Day cruise to New Brighton, open to all watersports users. A fantastic cruise which was most unusual in that in was a dead run in both directions.
Cruise the Famous Liverpool Waterfront
Run the Bridge 2010 Your driven over the Runcorn Bridge many times, Now try under it! Which one is more fun do you think? Open to all Watersports users.
Run The Bridge 2011 is set for October the 1st. Glasson SC Viking Raid 2010 Against all better judgement and leaving common sense firmly moored up, we set out with a suitable attired GP14 for the River Lune and as guests of Glasson Sailing Club were we joined their Viking Raid. A great sail in surprisingly varying conditions. We poke through the shallows and after suitable pillaging of a local hostel, a good beat home.
Anglesey Powerboat weekend 2010
Out for a quiet Sunday cruise
We had great days out Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The weather was kind to us Saturday and Monday but wet on the Sunday. Nigel France and Steve Barlow were giving their new boats proper shake downs and really got to know them and Graham Bate and John got some real speed out of their new engine. One point to note, there is a 5 knot speed limit all around Port Dinorwic which extends right across the Straights not just by the shores. Exceed this and you will be pulled by the harbour master.
What its all about The powerboat weekend is an annual event and open to all powerboats, If your interested in joining in get in touch with Phil.
GP14 Vintage and Cruising Weekend 2010 A small but keen contingent of our GP14 fleet set out to join the GP14 Vintage weekend at Dovey Yacht Club, the inaugural club of the class, to celebrate on the 60th Anniversary. Despite the miserable weather the weekend was a great success for an emerging vintage scene for the GP14.
Check out those sail numbers! With due regard to our unaccustomed fame (ahem), read all about it here at Y&Y . This will be an annual event so any members who are keen to join in, please contact the GP14 fleet Captain, you don't need a vintage boat or even a boat at all!
