After a Storm the previous night the team assembled on a bright winters day to tackle the the end of the slipway which had been covered by silt for around the last 20 years,
With the help of some new members who had been able to acquire the use of a mini digger for the day, which was invaluable clearing away about 6 inches of mud/silt from & extending the gully to the bottom of the slipway.
While the Digger was making great inroads the manual labor of clearing rocks & bricks from the sides of the slipway commenced to make the approach to the slipway safer. This involved trying to evaded the deep sections of mud.
Which as Jay found out can be quite deep & partial to keeping your welly :)
Good Effort by all involved
